Kristopher Robinson plead guilty to and was sentenced for the crime of Possession
of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, methamphetamine, a Class B felony,
in case number FE235123. He was sentenced to an indeterminate term of twenty-five
(25) years, and must serve a mandatory one-third of this sentence prior to becoming
eligible for parole. This mandatory minimum one-third was reduced by one-third because
of his acceptance of responsibility. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County
Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Anthony Stevens was sentenced for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled
Substance, a Class C felony, in case number FE234067. Judgment in his case was deferred
and he was placed on probation for five (5) years. This defendant was prosecuted
by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
On January 12, 2010, Defendant Jonathan Galvan, entered a plea of guilty to the
charge of: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver as alleged
in Count I of the Trial Information, in violation of Iowa Code Section(s) 124.401(1)(d),
a Class D Felony. On May 3rd, 2010, Defendant Jonathan Galvan was sentenced to a
period of incarceration not to exceed 5 years for the charge of: Possession of a
Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver as alleged in Count I of the Trial Information,
in violation of Iowa Code Section (s) 124.401(1)(d). The sentence in this matter
was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation for a period of 5 years.
The defendant shall be supervised by the Fifth Judicial District Department of Correctional
Services. Jonathan Galvan was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug
and Gang Bureau.
On March 22, 2010, Defendant Dice Moitozo, entered a plea of guilty to the charges
of: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver as a Second and
Subsequent Offender as alleged in Count I of FECR234046, in violation of Iowa Code
Section(s) 124.401(1)(d), and 124.411, a Class D Felony, and Possession of a Controlled
Substance Third Offense as alleged in Count I of FECR232627, in violation of Iowa
Code Section(s) 124.401(5), a Class D Felony On May 3, 2010, Defendant Dice Moitozo,
was sentenced to a period of incarceration not to exceed 15 years for the charge
of: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver as a Second and
Subsequent Offender, in violation of Iowa Code Section (s) 124.401(1)(d), and 124.411,
and was sentenced to a period of incarceration not to exceed 5 years for the charge
of: Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Offense, in violation of Iowa Code
Section(s) 124.401(5). These sentences are to run consecutive to each other for
a total period of 20 years. The defendant shall be committed to the custody of the
Director of the Iowa Department of Corrections. Dice Moitozo, was prosecuted by
the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Kevin Ross Campbell pled guilty and was sentenced on three counts of Theft in the
Second Degree. He was sent to prison for a total indeterminate time of ten years
– all to be served after he completes his sentence for a similar crime out of Johnson
County.
Medalis Dubinovic pled guilty to five different charges of Theft in the Second Degree.
He will be sentenced June 21st, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., in room 204 of the Polk County
Courthouse.

Joshua Stubbs plead guilty to and was sentenced for the crimes of Possession of
a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, methamphetamine, a Class B felony,
as a second or subsequent offender, in case number FE235123, and Theft in the Second
Degree, a Class D felony, in case number FE233286. He was sentenced to an indeterminate
term of thirty (30) years with a mandatory one-third term in FE235123 and five (5)
years in FE233286. These sentences were ordered to run consecutive to each other
for a total of thirty-five (35) years. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk
County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Joshua Hamilton was sentenced to a five (5) year term of incarceration. He had been
previously found to have violated the conditions of his probation in case number
FE219090. He was on probation for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance
With Intent to Deliver, marijuana, a Class D felony. This defendant was prosecuted
by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Ashley Smith was sentenced in Polk County Criminal Number FECR234361 for the crime
of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Susbtance. The Court granted Ashley Smith
a deferred judgment over the State’s objection and placed her on probation for a
period of 5 years. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office
Drug and Gang Bureau.

Drisana Davis was sentenced to an indeterminate term of incarceration not to exceed
10 years in Polk County Criminal Number FECR233783 for the crime of Conspiracy to
Manufacture a Controlled Susbtance. The Court granted Drisana Davis a suspended
sentence and placed her on probation for a period of 5 years after she completed
a residential substance abuse treatment program. The defendant was prosecuted by
the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Scott Aunspach was sentenced to prison in Polk County Criminal Number FECR234968
for a period not to exceed 10 years for the crime of Manufacturing a Controlled
Substance. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug
and Gang Bureau.
A probation revocation hearing was held in the case of State of Iowa v. Robert Slack
II in FECR224176. Slack had received a deferred judgment and a term of probation
on one count of Theft in the Second Degree, a class D felony. He’s had several probation
violations and several different placements for treatment. His deferred judgment
was revoked and the original prison sentence of five years was imposed.
A probation revocation hearing was held in the case of State of Iowa v. Randall
Smith in AGCR217554. Mr. Smith stipulated to the violations. His probation was not
revoked. He was continued on probation, but remains in custody pending placement
at the Mount Pleasant Treatment Center.
A probation revocation was held in the case of State of Iowa v. Jeremy Virden, FECR227562
and FECR227987. The defendant stipulated to the violations as reported and was continued
on probation with additional conditions that were specifically set forth in the
Order.
Todd Whitlatch entered pleas of guilty to two counts of Neglect of a Dependent Person,
both class C felonies in FECR235581. A presentence investigation report was ordered
and he will be sentenced on June 23, 2010 at 9:30 a.m.

On February 1, 2010, Defendant David O. Kisler, entered a plea of guilty to the
charge of: Obtaining or Attempting to Obtain a Prescription Drug by Fraud, Deceit,
Misrepresentation or Subterfuge, as alleged in the Trial Information, in violation
of Iowa Code Section(s) 124.401(1)(c)(8), 155A.24, and 155A.23, a Class C Felony.
On May 7, 2010, Defendant David O. Kisler was sentenced to a period of incarceration
not to exceed 10 years for the charge of: Obtaining or Attempting to Obtain a Prescription
Drug by Fraud, Deceit, Misrepresentation, or Subterfuge, as alleged in the Trial
Information, in violation of Iowa Code Section (s) 124.401(1)(c)(8), 155A.24, and
155A.23 The judgment was deferred and the defendant was placed on probation for
a period of 5 years. The defendant shall be supervised by the Fifth Judicial District
Department of Correctional Services. David O. Kisler was prosecuted by the Polk
County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
