Information Technology - About Us

The Information Technology supports County Government through a wide range of technology applications.

The IT staff provides technology infrastructure support, application development services, 3rd party software acquisition, communications and connectivity, help desk support, technology purchasing services, and project management expertise for nearly all Polk County departments and offices.

The IT staff provides 24 x 7 support for internal departments and offices residing in approximately 30 different locations throughout Polk County.
