HIV/HEPATITIS COALITION |

The HIV/Hepatitis Coalition is a loose affiliation of community agencies
who gather on a quarterly basis to share information regarding their
organization's initiatives and activities around the issues of HIV and
Hepatitis. The agency host of each meeting is also responsible for planning
a guest speaker. Some of the agencies currently represented on the coalition
are American Red Cross, AIDS Project, Family Planning Council, Planned
Parenthood, Primary Health Care, Iowa Department of Public Health and Polk
County Health Department. Partners recently successfully collaborated for
the third year, along with other agencies , on HIV and Hepatitis screenings
held in conjunction with National HIV Testing Day.

Meetings are held at the host agency hosting the quarterly meeting. The host
and location is not chosen until the end of the current meeting. Meetings are held
the third Wednesday of June, Sept, Dec, March. Time and location to be Determined.
