The Roads Division is probably the most visible of all the Public Works Divisions.
The division is responsible for the maintenance of the Polk County Secondary Road
System, including ditch cleaning, roadway surface repairs, bridge and culvert repairs,
and snow removal. The Roads Division is also responsible for the mowing of weeds
administered under the Weed Eradication Program.
