Courthouse Tours

A special election will be held on April 29, 2008, to consider a project to renovate the current Polk County Courthouse and construct an adjacent court facility.

Arrangements have been made for a number of tours of the courthouse for those interested in learning more about its current condition and the need to provide a responsible, long-term solution to the safety, security, and overcrowding issues:

Courthouse Tour Schedule

• Tuesday, March 25 - 1:30 p.m.
• Thursday, March 27 - 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday, March 29 - 10:00 a.m.
• Monday, April 7 - 9:00 a.m.
• Monday, April 14 - 9:00 a.m.
• Monday, April 21 - 9:00 a.m.

The public is asked to enter through the south doors of the Courthouse.
