Domestic Abuse Dispositions
07/28/2008 Javan Kawoa Torres pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Torres was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Torres was fined $315.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, attend the Assaultive Behavior Class, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

William O’Neal Zanders pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Zanders was placed on probation for 1 year. Zanders was required to obtain a psychological evaluation, attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

07/29/2008 Frank Anthony Cataldo pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Cataldo received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Cataldo was placed on probation for 1 year and required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Huk Tommie Cavan pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury and Child Endangerment. Cavan was sentenced to 80 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Cavan was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and to participate in the Harbor of Hope aftercare program.

Juan Jose Chavez-Castillo pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Chavez-Castillo was ordered to serve 20 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Chavez-Castillo was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Michael Richard Jewell pled guilty to Assault. Jewell was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Jewell was required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class, obtain a substance abuse evaluation, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Rex Lynn Pettinger pled guilty to Harassment 1st Degree and Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Pettinger was placed on probation for 2 years and ordered to participate in the Harbor of Hope aftercare program. Pettinger was required to attend the 36 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Jennifer Lynn Dodds pled guilty to Harassment 3rd Degree. Dodds received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Dodds was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class.

Jason Lee Lippart pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Lippart was ordered to serve 50 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Lippart was required to attend the 36 week Batterer's Education Program.

Richard Damon Sebern pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Sebern was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Sebern was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

James Harold Sawhill pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Sawhill was ordered to serve 20 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Sawhill was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Dirk Ramsey Wasson pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Wasson was ordered to serve 23 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Wasson was fined $625.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Juan Gabriel Adame-Gonzalez pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Adame-Gonzalez was ordered to serve 20 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Adame-Gonzales was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

07/30/2008 Alfredo Rodriguez Chavez pled guilty to Interference with Official Acts and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine. Chavez was ordered to serve 95 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Chavez was fined $465.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and attend the Assaultive Behavior Class.

Murphy Vietorino Sercy pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Sercy was placed on probation for 2 years and ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and attend the Repeat Offender Class.

Larry Gross, Sr. pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Gross was ordered to serve 25 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Gross was fined $625.00 and required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

07/31/2008 Christopher James Briggs pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Briggs was ordered to serve 19 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Briggs was required to obtain treatment at the Iowa Residential Treatment Center, attend the 36 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

08/01/2008 On July 17, 2008, Jackie Lee Adamovicz pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. On August 1, 2008, Adamovicz was sentenced to 1 year of probation and fined $315.00. Adamovicz was required to obtain substance abuse treatment and to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Freddie Clark, III pled guilty to Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Clark was ordered to serve 50 days in jail and to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Tommy Lee Stewart pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Stewart was ordered to serve 8 days in jail and then to receive treatment at the Iowa Residential Treatment Center. Stewart was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.
