Domestic Abuse Dispositions
10/13/2008 Austin James Anderson pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Anderson was ordered to serve 19 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Anderson was required to receive a substance abuse evaluation, attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, participate in treatment at the Iowa Residential Treatment Center, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Frederick Alfonzo Dentis pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Dentis was sentenced to 180 days in jail and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

10/14/2008 Robert Lee Rushing pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Count I; Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Count II; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, Count III; and Interference with Official Acts Count IV. With regard to Counts I, II, and III, Rushing received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $1255.00 civil penalty. Rushing was placed on probation for 2 years and required to participate in substance abuse treatment, attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and be evaluated for the Parent Enrichment Program. With regard to Count IV, Rushing was ordered to serve 11 days in jail and fined $250.00.

Michael Jason Maneely pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Maneely received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Maneely was placed on probation for 1 year and required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

Michelle Lynn Reed pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Reed was placed on probation for 2 years and fined $625.00. Reed was required to receive a substance abuse evaluation and attend the Women’s Batterer’s Education Program.

Daryl Ray Culver pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Culver was placed on probation for 1 year and ordered to complete 70 hours of community service. Culver was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Jeffery Joseph Nikolas pled guilty to Eluding. Nikolas received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $625.00 civil penalty. Nikolas was placed on probation for 2 years.

Anthony Dion Davenport pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Davenport was ordered to serve 20 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Davenport was fined $625.00 and required to participate in substance abuse treatment and attend the 36 week Batterer's Education Program.

Ronald Jordan Johnson pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced and Violation of a No Contact Order. Johnson was ordered to serve 17 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Johnson was fined $625.00 and required to attend the 36 week Batterer's Education Program.

Kelly Joe Brown pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. On October 14, 2008, Brown was sentenced to 9 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Brown was fined $315.00 and required to participate in substance abuse treatment and attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

10/15/2008 Kendrick Reese Epping pled guilty to Harassment 1st Degree. Epping was sentenced to 2 years in prison and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

10/16/2008 Jesus Corona pled guilty to Assault. Corona was ordered to serve 30 days in jail.

10/17/2008 Pedro Joaquin Alvarez-Pastora pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury and Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Alvarez-Pastora was ordered to serve 60 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Alvarez-Pastora was required to attend the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.
