Domestic Abuse Dispositions
3/1/2010

James Jerome Patton pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Patton was ordered to serve 45 days in jail and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Darryl Dennis Parker pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Parker was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and obtain treatment at the Iowa Residential Treatment Center.

Shaniqua Ta Shae Gully pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury and stipulated that she violated the terms of her probation. Gully was ordered to serve 52 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Gully was fined $315.00 and required to receive treatment at the Women’s Residential Facility.

Cornovis Teasley pled guilty to Trespass and Assault. Teasley was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order. Teasley also stipulated that he violated the terms of his probation. Teasley was found in contempt for violating his probation and sentenced to 210 days in jail.

Bobby Ray Baker pled guilty to Assault. Baker was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Baker was required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

Abbey Heriford pled guilty to Assault. Heriford received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Heriford was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class.

Casey Neal pled guilty to Assault. Neal was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Neal was required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class and any other programming assigned by Probation.

Jonathan Merryfield pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Merryfield was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $315.00. Merryfield was ordered to obtain substance abuse treatment and participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Virgene Stacey Smith pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Smith was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class. Smith was required to be evaluated for the Restorative Parent Program and complete all counseling recommended by DHS.

Willie Wiggins pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Wiggins received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Wiggins was required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

Stephanie Camarata pled guilty to Assault. Camarata received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Camarata was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class.

Chelsi Rae Weeks pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Weeks received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Weeks was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Women’s Assaultive Behavior Class and any other programming assigned by Probation.

Walter Alexander Cruz-Barrios pled guilty to Trespass Causing Bodily Injury and Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Cruz-Barrios was ordered to serve 91 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Cruz-Barrios was fined $630.00 and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Christopher Mitchum pled guilty to Harassment 3rd Degree. Mitchum was ordered to serve 21 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Mitchum was fined $65.00 and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class and obtain a substance abuse evaluation and complete treatment.

Mark Christopher Staples pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Staples was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $315.00. Staples was required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Joshua Blewitt pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault and Interference with Official Acts. Blewitt was sentenced to 30 days in jail and required to complete the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Jose Arturo Andrade-Parodes pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Andrade-Parodes received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Andrade-Parodes was placed on probation for 2 years and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

3/3/2010

Ricky Dean Gordon pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct. Gordon was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Hector Tejada, Jr. pled guilty to Assault and willfully violating a No-Contact Order. Tejada was sentenced to 11 days in jail and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Timothy Shawn Gobb pled guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Gobb was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $315.00. Gobb was required to obtain substance abuse treatment, participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class, complete any other programming assigned by Probation, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Jason Lee Daniels pled guilty to Reckless Driving. Daniels was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class and obtain a substance abuse evaluation and complete any treatment or aftercare recommended.

Andrew Thor Anderson-Butts pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Anderson-Butts was sentenced to 1 year in prison and then placed on probation for 1 year and fined $325.00. Anderson-Butts was required to participate in the Batterer’s Education Program and to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

Darryl Keith Browder stipulated that he willfully violated a No Contact Order on March 3, 2010. Browder was found in contempt and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Humberto Rodriguez Urquizo stipulated that he willfully violated a No Contact Order on February 21, 2010. Urquizo was found in contempt and sentenced to 12 days in jail.

Jeffrey Steven Pliler stipulated that he willfully violated a No Contact Order on August 13, 2009. Pliler was found in contempt and sentenced to 15 days in jail.

On January 25, 2010, James Taylor, II was found guilty of Domestic Abuse Assault. On March 5, 2010, Taylor received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Taylor was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 4 year No-Contact Order.
