Domestic Abuse Dispositions
04/04/2011

On April 4, 2011, Matthew Ray Dent pleaded guilty to two counts of Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced and Trespass Causing Bodily Injury. Dent was ordered to serve 57 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Dent was fined $1,565.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, a psychological evaluation, participate in the 36 week Batterer's Education Program, and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

On April 4, 2011, Matthew David Campos pleaded guilty to Harassment 1st Degree and Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Campos was ordered to serve 10 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Campos was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On April 4, 2011, Aaron Jaye Pickens pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Pickens was ordered to serve 9 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Pickens was fined $315.00 and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On April 5, 2011, Marco Guerrero pleaded guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Domestic Abuse Assault. Guerrero was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $315.00. Guerrero was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class, complete the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On April 5, 2011, Reginald Akeem Jackson pleaded guilty to Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury and Harassment 1st Degree. Jackson was ordered to serve 23 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Jackson was fined $625.00 and required to obtain a psychological evaluation, obtain treatment at the Iowa Residential Treatment Center, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On April 5, 2011, Allen Amar Williams pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Williams was ordered to serve 28 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Williams was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On April 5, 2011, Stephanie Ann Kennedy pleaded guilty to Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Kennedy was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $315.00. Kennedy was required to continue with substance abuse treatment, participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and complete any other programming assigned by Probation or DHS.

On April 5, 2011, Charles Thomas Bagley pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Bagley was placed on probation for 2 years and fined $625.00. Bagley was required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

On April 5, 2011, Ryan Montgomery pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct. Montgomery was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Montgomery was required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

On April 5, 2011, Michael Christian Tinlin pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Tinlin received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $625.00 civil penalty. Tinlin was placed on probation for 2 years and required to complete 40 hours of community service, obtain substance abuse treatment, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

On April 5, 2011, John Michael Thomsen pleaded guilty to Assault. Thomsen received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Thomsen was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class.

On April 5, 2011, Mark Vincent Wallace stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Wallace’s probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 30 days in jail.

On February 23, 2011, Jerry Lee Rasmussen pleaded guilty to Burglary 2nd Degree and Harassment 1st Degree. On April 7, 2011, Rasmussen was placed on probation for 2 years and ordered to reside at Fort Des Moines Residential Facility until maximum benefits have been received, participate in the Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.
