Anthony Miklus appeared in court and plead guilty to the felony crime of Burglary
in the Third Degree. The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on May 24, 2010,
at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 204.
Courtnee Arnold appeared in court and plead guilty to the felony crime of Theft
in the First Degree. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 25, 2010, at 9:00 a.m.
in courtroom 204.
Edgard Ortiz was sentenced for two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree and two
counts of Theft in the Second Degree. The defendant was placed on probation for
a term of three years. He was further ordered to 300 hours of community service.
The defendant was also ordered to attend school fulltime and/or work fulltime.
Brooks Ennis, was found in contempt of court and ordered to served five days in
the Polk County Jail. The mittimus is set to issue on April 28, 2010. An additional
compliance hearing was scheduled for April 28 at 1:45 p.m. in courtroom 204.

Kyle McEnroe FECR231220 was sentenced to prison for a term not to exceed 10 years
for committing Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse and Burglary in the 2nd
Degree. The defendant was also ordered to register as a convicted sex offender,
comply with a No Contact Order and to complete a Special Sentence.
On December 15th, 2010, Tristan Ross Eickholdt, FECR231545, pled guilty to Possession
of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, as alleged in Count I of the Trial
Information, in violation of Iowa Code Section 124.401(1)(d), a Class D Felony.
On April 6th, 2010, she came before the Court for sentencing and received a 5 year
suspended sentence and was placed on probation for 5 years with the applicable $750.00

Bureau.
On February 19th, 2010, Terrence N. Robinson, FECR227228, pled guilty to Possession
of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-marijuana, as alleged in Count
II of the Trial Information, in violation of Iowa Code Section 124.401(1)(d), a
Class D Felony. On April 5th, 2010, he came before the Court for sentencing and
received a deferred judgment and probation with the applicable $750.00 civil penalty.
This case was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Nicki Jones was sentenced for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled
Substance, a Class C felony, in case number FE234066. She was sentenced to a maximum
indeterminate term of ten (10) years, but this sentence was suspended and she was
placed on probation for five years. She will be required to remain in jail until
a space is available at the Women’s Residential Facility. This defendant was prosecuted
by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Weston Brammer plead guilty to and was sentenced for the crimes of Delivery of a
Controlled Substance, methamphetamine, two counts, Class C felonies, in case number
FE234534. He was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate term of ten (10) years on
each count and these sentences were run consecutive for a total of twenty (20) years
and he will be required to serve a mandatory one-third term of this sentence. This
defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
On February 25, 2010, Raphael Webster, FECR233457, pled guilty to the offense of
Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-marijuana, as alleged
in Count I of the Trial Information, in violation of Iowa Code Section 124.401(1)(d),
a Class D Felony. On April 7, 2010, he came before the Court for sentencing and
received a deferred judgment and probation with the applicable $750.00 civil penalty.

Defendant Aenoy Prathane appeared for hearing on question of whether his probation
should be revoked for violating the terms and conditions of his probation. The defendant
did stipulate that he violated his probation and the court revoked his deferred
judgment and adjudged him guilty of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree and Malicious
Prosecution. The defendant was continued on probation for five years and ordered
to comply with the Department of Corrections Intermediate Criminal Sanctions Program.
Defendant Spencer Virden appeared for sentencing. The records show the defendant
plead guilty on the 29th day of January, 2010, to the crimes of Burglary in the
Second Degree; Burglary in the Third Degree; Theft in the Fourth Degree and Possession
of Paraphernalia. He also plead guilty to Theft in the Third Degree. The defendant
was sentenced to a term of incarceration not to exceed ten years on all counts.
Defendant Nicholas Clausi appeared in court to determine whether or not he violated
the terms and conditions of his probation. The court determined that the defendant
did violate the terms and conditions of his probation and his probation was revoked.
The defendant was adjudged guilty of Theft in the Second Degree and sentenced to
a period of incarceration not to exceed five years.
Defendant Corey Moore appeared in court for a probation violation hearing. The defendant
stipulated that he did violate the terms of his probation and he was ordered to
reside at the Fort Des Moines Correctional Facility until maximum benefits are received.

Trisha Simmer plead guilty to the crimes of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled
Substance, methamphetamine, a Class C felony, and Possession of Ephedrine or Pseudoephedrine
With Intent It Be Used to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, a Class D felony,
in case number FE231267. She will be sentenced on May 20, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom
207. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and
Gang Bureau.
Martin Ganzel plead guilty to the crimes of Burglary in the Third Degree, two counts,
Class D felonies, and Obtaining or Attempting to Obtain a Prescription Drug by Fraud,
Deceit, Misrepresentation or Subterfuge, seven counts, three Class C felonies and
four aggravated misdemeanors, in case number FE234032. He will be sentenced on May
20, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in courtroom 207. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk
County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
On March 29, 2010, Macon Grunsted stipulated that he had violated the conditions
of his probation in case number FE228558. He was previously granted probation for
the crime of Possession of a Simulated Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver,
a Class C felony. On April 8, 2010, he was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate
term of ten (10) years in prison and will be required to serve a mandatory one-third
of this sentence prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted

Deliver, in violation of Iowa Code Section(s) 124.401(1)(d), a Class D Felony, Count
II: Failure to Posses a Tax Stamp, in violation of Iowa Code Section(s) 453B.3,
and 453B.12, a Class D Felony On April 9, 2010, Defendant Fabricio Ochoa-Contreras
was sentenced to a period of incarceration not to exceed 5 years for the charge
of: Count I: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, in violation

drove over and/or struck Raymond Freeman with a motor vehicle. Raymond Freeman suffered
