08/29/2011

On August 29, 2011, Dana Redfern pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Redfern was sentenced to 5 years in prison and required to complete the Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On August 29, 2011, Terrence Mandril Galbreath stipulated to willfully violating a No Contact Order on August 14, 2011. Galbreath was found in contempt and sentenced to 15 days in jail.

On August 29, 2011, Kory Matthew Anderson pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced. Anderson was placed on probation for 2 years and fined $625.00. Anderson was required to participate in the 36 week Batterer's Education Program and complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

08/30/2011

On August 30, 2011, John Hosea Hews, Jr. was found to have violated the terms of probation. Hews’ probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 365 days in jail.

On August 30, 2011, Maria Makhmuryan was found guilty of Domestic Abuse Assault. Makhmuryan received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Makhmuryan was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Women’s Batterer's Education Program.

On August 30, 2011, Dennis Wilson Gibson was found to have violated the terms of probation. Gibson’s probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

On August 30, 2011, Steven Curtis Fallis pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Fallis was ordered to serve 5 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Fallis was required to complete 44 hours of community service, continue with psychological treatment at the VA, and participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

On August 30, 2011, Eric Matthew Jones pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Jones was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Jones was required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

On August 30, 2011, Jonathan Clark pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Clark received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Clark was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class and obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

On August 30, 2011, Melvin Richard Dameron pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct. Dameron received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Dameron was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class.

On August 30, 2011, Jeffery Kurth pleaded guilty to Assault. Kurth received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Kurth was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class and follow through with treatment at the House of Mercy.

On August 30, 2011, Sara Joann Canada pleaded guilty to Assault. Canada received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Canada was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class and any other programming assigned by Probation.

On August 30, 2011, Karla Fenner pleaded guilty to Assault. Fenner received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Fenner was placed on probation for 1 year and required to complete the Assaultive Behavior Class.

On August 30, 2011, Damon Russell Hill pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Harassment 2nd Degree. Hill was ordered to serve 27 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Hill was fined $630.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On August 30, 2011, Jessica Nicole Fattig was found to have violated the terms of probation. Fattig’s probation was revoked and her original sentence was imposed. Fattig was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

On August 30, 2011, Shani Dawn Palmer stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Palmer’s probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

On August 30, 2011, Skip Edward Davis stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Davis was found in contempt and was ordered to serve 13 days in jail and then continue with the original terms of probation.

08/31/2011

On August 31, 2011, Daniel Dreher pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury and stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Dreher was ordered to serve 4 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Dreher was fined $315.00 and required to complete 120 hours of community service at Central Iowa Shelter Services. Dreher was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

On August 31, 2011, Timothy Hildenbrand pleaded guilty to Assault. Hildenbrand was ordered to serve 30 days in jail.

On August 31, 2011, Gary Ellis Jones pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Enhanced and stipulated to willfully violating a No Contact Order on August 19, 2011. Jones was ordered to serve 5 years in prison and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order and complete the Batterer's Education Program.

On August 31, 2011, Debbie Louise West pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Count I; and Assault on a Police Officer, Count II. West received a deferred judgment for Count I and was assessed a $615.00 civil penalty. For Count II, West was adjudged guilty and fined $315.00. West was placed on probation for 1 year and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the Women’s Batterer's Education Program, and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On August 31, 2011, Priscilla Sanitas Aguiniga pleaded guilty to Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Aguiniga received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $315.00 civil penalty. Aguiniga was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class.

09/01/2011

On September 1, 2011, Brian Daniel Fechner pleaded guilty to Harassment 1st Degree, Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Fechner was sentenced to 2 years probation and fined $1,255.00. Fechner was required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and complete an aftercare program.

On September 1, 2011, Michael Walter Michael pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Michael was ordered to serve 20 days in jail and then placed on probation for 1 year. Michael was fined $315.00 and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and complete any other programming recommended by Probation.

09/02/2011

On September 2, 2011, Alford Anderson pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Anderson was placed on probation for 2 years and fined $625.00. Anderson was required to obtain a psychological evaluation and participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.
