09/12/2011

On September 12, 2011, Morgan Bradford Blom stipulated to willfully violating a No Contact Order on February 16, 2011. Blom was found in contempt and sentenced to 14 days in jail.

09/13/2011

On September 13, 2011, Katie Amanda Thorn pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Thorn was placed on probation for 1 year and fined $65.00. Thorn was required to participate in the Women’s Batterer's Education Program and to complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

On September 13, 2011, Kayla Rae Owens pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Owens received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Owens was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Women’s Batterer's Education Program and to continue with treatment at Eyerly Ball.

On September 13, 2011, Alexis Gibson pleaded guilty to Assault. Gibson received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Gibson was placed on probation for 1 year and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation.

On September 13, 2011, Ryan Brantley pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Brantley received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Brantley was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

On September 13, 2011, Oscar Jesus Maciel pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Maciel received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $315.00 civil penalty. Maciel was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program and abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On September 13, 2011, Julio Cesar Otanez pleaded guilty to Assault. Otanez received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Otanez was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the Assaultive Behavior Class.

On September 13, 2011, Kelsie Long pleaded guilty to Assault. Long received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Long was placed on probation for 1 year and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and a psychological evaluation and follow through with any recommended treatment.

On September 13, 2011, Sean Castine pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault. Castine received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $65.00 civil penalty. Castine was placed on probation for 1 year and required to participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

On September 13, 2011, Kati Huffman was found guilty of Domestic Abuse Assault and Assault. Huffman received a deferred judgment and was assessed a $130.00 civil penalty. Huffman was placed on probation for 1 year and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On September 13, 2011, Sandy Watkins pleaded guilty to Assault. Watkins was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and required to abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order.

On September 13, 2011, Bobby Alan DeWees pleaded guilty to Harassment 3rd Degree and Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Owner’s Consent. DeWees also stipulated to six counts of willfully violating a No Contact Order. DeWees was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. DeWees was fined $615.00 and required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, a psychological evaluation, abide by a 5 year No-Contact Order, and abstain from consuming alcohol during probation.

09/14/2011

On September 14, 2011, Clint Taylor Eckerman stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Eckerman was found in contempt and ordered to serve 177 days in jail.

On September 14, 2011, Michael Edward Fanning stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Fanning’s probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 90 days in jail.

09/15/2011

On September 15, 2011, Kevin Lloyd Cavil stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Cavil’s probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 86 days in jail.

On September 15, 2011, Robert Mark Perry, II pleaded guilty to Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree, Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol or Other Drug. Perry was ordered to serve 50 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Perry was required to obtain treatment at Iowa Residential Treatment Center, obtain a substance abuse evaluation, and participate in the OWI First Program and the 24 week Batterer's Education Program.

On September 15, 2011, Phillip James Schaffer pleaded guilty to Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Schaffer was ordered to serve 25 days in jail and then placed on probation for 2 years. Schaffer was fined $315.00 and required to obtain substance abuse treatment, participate in the 24 week Batterer's Education Program, and complete any other programming assigned by Probation.

On September 15, 2011, Harold Edwin Moffit stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Moffit’s Deferred Judgment was revoked and he was sentenced to 1 year of probation and fined $315.00.

09/16/2011

On September 16, 2011, Shannon Marie Jeffery stipulated to violating the terms of probation. Jeffery was found in contempt and ordered to serve 15 days in jail and then continue with the original terms of probation.
