On October 20, 2009, Defendant James Lee Kloppenburg, entered a plea of guilty to the charge of Count I: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, in violation of Iowa Code Section(s) 124.401(1)(d). On December 7, 2009, Defendant James Lee Kloppenburg, was sentenced for a period not to exceed 5 years for the charge of Count I: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, in violation of Iowa Code Section(s) 124.401(1)(d). The Defendant James Lee Kloppenburg is committed to the custody of the Director of the Iowa Department of Corrections. James Lee Kloppenburg was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Eric Oatman was sentenced to prison in Polk County Criminal Number FECR232931 for a period not to exceed 10 years for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Ly Van Nguyen was sentenced to an indeterminate five-year sentence for Theft in the Second Degree.

Corey Hochmuth stipulated to violating his probation and was given four days in the county jail for contempt.

Dorsey Wilson stipulated to violating his probation and was ordered to the in-jail treatment program.

Matthew Earle stipulated to violating his probation and his probation was revoked and Mr. Earle was sent to prison for Burglary and Forgery.

Mark Cooke was sentenced to prison for committing a Burglary in the Third Degree.

DeWayne Huber plead guilty and was sentenced for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, a Class B felony, as a second or subsequent offender, in case number FE230977. He was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate term of forty (40) years and will be required to serve a mandatory minimum term of one-third prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Carlos Hernadez-Aguilar was sentenced to prison in Polk County Criminal Number FECR232212 for a period not to exceed 25 years for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Christina Darr plead guilty and was sentenced for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, a Class C felony, in case number FE232073. She was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate term of ten (10) years and will be required to serve a mandatory minimum term of one-third prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Adam Ericson plead guilty and was sentenced for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class B felony, in case number FE231843. He was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate term of twenty-five (25) years and will be required to serve a mandatory minimum term of one-third prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Jason Kooker stipulated that he violated the terms and conditions of his probation. Mr. Kooker was found in contempt of court and ordered to serve 15 days in the Polk County Jail. He was also ordered to remain in jail until space was available at Fort Des Moines.

Patrick King pled guilty to two counts of Theft in the Second Degree, both Class D felonies, and also the felony crime of Forgery. The defendant also acknowledged that he was a habitual offender for each of those counts. The defendant was then placed in the Intensive Supervision (Drug Court) and sentencing was continued.

Kerry Williams pled guilty to the crime of Theft in the First Degree. Sentencing was set for January 25, 2010.

Brian Williams pled guilty to the felony crime of Theft in the First Degree and sentencing was set for January 25, 2010.
