“D.J.” Schofield guilty
On August 19, 2008, a Polk County District Court jury found Dennis “D.J.” Schofield guilty of two counts of Murder in the First Degree in Polk County Criminal Number FE 210462. Schofield was convicted in the shooting deaths of Terry and Lisa Dilks in August of 2004 in their Urbandale home. Schofield faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison. His sentencing is set for September 29, 2008 before Polk County District Court Judge Robert A. Hutchison. Schofield was prosecuted by Stephanie Cox and Dan Voogt of the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
