Darwin Dean Stinson, FECR200734, came before the court for a probation violation hearing. The Court revoked his probation and imposed the original five year prison sentence for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-marijuana, in violation of Iowa Code Section 124.401(1)(d), a Class D Felony. Paul Jensen was sentenced to prison in Polk County Criminal Number FECR217919 for a period not to exceed 10 years for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine and to prison in Polk County Criminal Number SRCR218011 for a period not to exceed one year and two years for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance (2nd Offense) – Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance (2nd Offense) - Methamphetamine. The Court ordered all the sentences to be served consecutively for an effective prison term not to exceed 13 years. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
Clifton Edward Scott was found guilty to a jury of Conspiracy to Deliver More than Fifty Kilograms of Marijuana while in the Immediate Possession or Control of a Firearm and guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance on April 17, 2008 in Polk County Criminal Case number FECR214905. On June 16, 2008, the defendant was sentenced to a mandatory twenty years prison for these offenses. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney's Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
