Easter Lake Kickoff

When & Where:

This event occurred in the past.

What:

The Easter Lake Watershed Project will hold a public kickoff event to provide a chance for visitors to learn about the upcoming lake and watershed renovations, enjoy fun events, and free food. A variety of fun activities will be set up for families including canoeing, Frisbee golf, scavenger hunt, and relay races. Adults can visit educational booths hosted by local contractors and conservation groups. These booths will provide all the information needed to learn about rainscaping practices including rain gardens, permeable pavers, soil quality restoration, native landscaping, and more! These practices are being promoted to watershed residents in an effort to infiltrate stormwater, stop pollutants, and improve water quality in Easter Lake.
