Farm to School Gardens, Food Rescue Are Current Focus for Food Stakeholders

Food Stakeholders surrounding the Healthy Polk 2020 priority Ensure access to affordable, healthy food for everyone are working on a number of issues related to food production, food rescue and food education.
The group is combining forces with the Eat Greater Des Moines Food System Working Group to maximize effectiveness and enhance resource use.
