ROBBERY AT GIT-N-GO ON NW AURORA and NW 2ND ST.

According to witnesses, a man brandished a handgun and demanded money at about 11:56 p.m. Wednesday night, April 11, at a Git-N-Go station. They indicated that he left the store, located at 4224 NW 2nd Street, with some beer along with an undisclosed amount of money.
A deputy was close to the store when the broadcast was made and he arrived approximately one minute later. Witnesses described the suspect as a thin white male, about 5’5” tall, between 25 and 30 years of age with brown hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and a goatee. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and black and white tennis shoes. Deputies searched the area but did not find anyone matching the description.
Polk County Sheriff’s Detectives are working on obtaining a photo of the suspect. Once it is received, an update will be released.
