The General Services Department provides centralized support functions for all County departments though it's three divisions: Administration, Buildings & Grounds and Central Services.
This Division provides administrative direction and support to the Department and is responsible for many special duties. Among the functions performed are: supervision, budgeting & planning, payroll processing, special project coordination, and other administrative responsibilities.
This division provides maintenance and support services throughout County Government at all owned and most leased facilities. This includes custodial services, building and grounds maintenance, light construction, engineering, telephone support, and other general support duties.
This division provides a wide range of services to all County and some State functions, including: purchasing of goods & services, contracting, mail processing, central stores, archives, print shop, and fleet management.
