Felony Case Summary (November 2018)

On November 13, 2018, Michelle Houghton plead guilty and was sentenced for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class B felony, as a second or subsequent offender, and Failure to Possess a Tax Stamp, a Class D felony, in case number FE319127.  She was sentenced to a maximum term of incarceration not to exceed thirty (30) years with a mandatory one-third term she must serve prior to becoming eligible for parole and a five (5) year term, consecutive to each other and to her parole revocation, for a total of fifty-nine (59) years.  This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On November 13, 2018, Casey Jones plead guilty and was sentenced for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class C felony, and Failure to Possess a Tax Stamp, a Class D felony, in case number FE315377.  He was sentenced to a maximum term of incarceration not to exceed ten (10) years and five (5) years, consecutive to each other.  This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On November 27, 2018, Dustin Goode plead guilty and was sentenced for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class B felony, as a second or subsequent offender, in case number FE319982.  He was sentenced to a maximum term of incarceration not to exceed thirty-five (35) years with a mandatory one-third term he must serve prior to becoming eligible for parole, consecutive to his parole revocation.  This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On November 27, 2018, Matthew Fyfe plead guilty to the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class C felony, as a second or subsequent offender, in case number FE319696.  He will be sentenced on January 8, 2019 and faces a maximum term of incarceration not to exceed thirty (30) years.  This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
