VTO Restoration Days

When & Where:

This event occurred in the past.

Many amazing local companies, organizations, and schools offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO) as an added benefit for their workforce. This provides an excellent opportunity to offer those within their ranks with a unique way to create positive impact within their community. If your organization offers VTO hours or you find yourself with availability during the work week, come spend it outside with PCC in a beautiful county park!

May will focus on woodland restoration at Fort Des Moines Park and June will bring trail maintenance at Jester Park.

*Locations and projects for July and August are TBD.

No experience necessary and all equipment provided for the listed events. Dress for the weather. Wear long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes and gloves (provided if you do not have a pair), and bring a refillable water bottle.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR EACH EVENT. Detailed meeting locations, workday information, and equipment will be provided to those registered.
