Clothing & Gear Swap

Join us for a sustainable and fun-filled event at the Jester Park Nature Center! Did you know that the average American throws away approximately 81 pounds of clothing every year? Reduce your textile waste and find new-to-you treasures at our Clothing and Gear Swap by donating your gently used items. The swap itself will happen on March 15 from 11 AM – 4 PM at the Jester Park Nature, the week prior we will be accepting donations at the Jester Park Nature Center, see information below.

Donation Drop-Off Dates:

• March 8: 10 AM - 4 PM
• March 9: NOON - 4 PM
• March 10: 9 AM - 4 PM
• March 11: 9 AM - 4 PM

Donation Guidelines

Abide by the rules of karma and only donate items in a condition that you would be willing and excited to take home. Please avoid donating clothes and gear that are stained, smell, broken, or worn out. We are accepting wearable and useable items in good condition, including:

• Clothing: dresses, shorts, skirts, shirts, pants, jeans, shoes, sunglasses, snow gear, jackets & coats, scarves & hats & gloves, kid’s clothes (Sizes 2T and up)
• Gear: tents, backpacks, hiking poles, sleeping bags, yoga mats, hammocks, sleds, snowboards, skis, lanterns/flashlights, water bottles, camping cookware, beach towels

Please note: We do not accept used socks, undergarments, swimwear, or home goods.

Bring your friends and family to this event and swap items you no longer need for ones that are new to you for FREE! Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow outdoor enthusiasts and embrace the spirit of reusing and recycling. See you there!
