Earth Day 2022

It's not a day. It's a movement.

Join us for lunch and a social hour to meet other volunteers before you learn all the ways you can positively impact your local environment from our corner of the world with Polk County Conservation. Following lunch, learn how you can become a steward of the land and get your hands dirty in invasive species removal, native garden maintenance, or a litter cleanup projects as we celebrate this place we call home.

REGISTRATION: Required

DEADLINE: Register by noon the day prior

COST: Free

AGES: All ages and abilities welcome. No experience necessary. 

Ages 12+ will be permitted use of hand tools.

Ages 18+ will be permitted use of power tools and equipment.

Each event participant will be provided proper personal protective equipment and training as needed.
