Lunch & Learn: Put Your VTO Hours to Work with PCC
Many companies offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO) as an added benefit for their workforce. This provides an excellent opportunity to give those within their ranks a unique way to create positive impact within their community by encouraging employees to volunteer their time to the nonprofit organization of their choice while on the clock. Some companies will organize volunteer opportunities for their employees while others leave it up to the employee to pick which organization they want to use their hours.
During this Lunch & Learn, Coordinators will explore the wide variety of conservation related projects and opportunities available to volunteers groups of all shapes and sizes. From habitat restoration to campground repairs; river cleanups to garden cultivation; there is a VTO option for everyone. Come learn how to put your VTO hours to work with in your favorite Polk County Conservation park, trail, or wildlife area! Registered attendees will be sent a Zoom link to attend this event.
