Needle Felting

Example of what you'll make in class

Learn the art of needle-felting! You’ll create a beautiful design using only wool and a needle. The class will begin with a half hour discussion about some common Iowa winter birds, which will later serve as artistic inspiration. Fiber artist Megan Hammer will then teach the basics of needle felting in the warmth and comfort of the Jester Park Nature Center classrooms. Registration includes a kit with a 4” hoop for framing your art, as well as the tools to continue your felting journey at home!

AGES: 10+ with an adult
