Rainwater Runoff: Rain Barrels to Rain Gardens

April showers equal rainwater runoff. Discover ways to utilize the rainwater from rain barrels to raingardens. Bring your questions and join other like-minded individuals trying to find ways to live more sustainably. Presenters will discuss current incentive programs in the greater Des Moines area. Cassie Druhl, Water Resources Outreach Coordinator for Polk County Public Works and Cody Acevedo, Easter Lake Watershed Coordinator will be leading the presentation and discussion.
Polk County Conservation will be offering bi-monthly sustainability programming topics for the public to learn more on living green and ways to implement sustainability into our everyday lives.
