Park Shelters

Polk County Conservation offers 21+ picnic shelters and an amphitheater for families and groups to enjoy within our parks.

Shelters Available for Rent:

Reservations for shelters can be made online up to one year in advance but must be made at least 5 days prior to event at www.mycountyparks.com.

Reservations:
If a shelter has not been reserved, it is available on a first-come-first-served basis, free of charge. Shelters cannot be reserved from October 16 - April 14. Shelters available on a first-come, first-serve basis are free of charge.

Beer & Wine:
Beer and wine are allowed in our county parks with the exception of Easter Lake Park. At Easter Lake Park, beer and wine can be consumed ONLY if a shelter has been reserved.

Keg beer is allowed at shelters with a deposit. Shelters vary in size and can accommodate up to 150 people. If a shelter is unreserved for the day, they are available to park visitors on a first-come basis. Click here for reservations and pricing.
