Polk County Conservation, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and REI West Des Moines invite you, your friends and family out to celebrate our 2nd Annual National Trails Day with a day of trail maintenance, “History of Iowa Trails” presentation, free food and beverages, live music and more at Jester Park.
Spend the afternoon participating in trail maintenance with other outdoor enthusiasts. Afterward, grab some tacos from Tacopocalypse and a brew specially crafted by Peace Tree Brewing Co. for National Trails Day. Then kick back and settle into REI’s Camp Lounge to hear Andrea Boulton of the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation present on the rich history of Iowa’s trail systems followed by live music with Adam Bruce.
