2nd Annual Stars & Stripes Gala 2017

Tuesday, September 19, 2017

On Friday, November 3, 2017 at 5 p.m., the Jester Park Equestrian Center is hosting the 2nd Annual Stars & Stripes Gala at the Jester Park Lodge in Granger, Iowa. The evening is designed to help raise life-changing funds for support of our Horses Helping Heroes Veterans Program. Tickets can be found here

The mission of Horses Helping Heroes is to build the Veteran's confidence through interactions with horses; by creating relationships and opportunities that allow for the development of skills that can be used in their everyday life.

JPEC has partnered directly with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to create a unique adaptive horsemanship program that support our Veterans in need. Horses Helping Heroes officially launched on September 6, 2016 and the positive impact on the many Veterans we have served is evident. JPEC is ecstatic to continue to develop the program for many years to come.

Both the live and silent auction's success is largely dependent upon your support and participation. With your help, they hope to reach a goal of raising over $10,000 for the continued development of Horses Helping Heroes Veterans Program. Your support will directly assist the Veterans that Horses Helping Heroes serves by enabling Jester Park Equestrian Center to cover un-subsidized program fees, offering scholarships to individual Veterans, and to grow the reach of the program in 2018 and beyond. Equine interactions have been proven to provide needed therapeutic aspects for our Veterans in the areas of social, emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
