NWS Event Planning Workshop

Polk County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service Des Moines office would like to invite you to a Special Events Planning Workshop.

National Weather Service Meteorologist-In-Charge Donna Dubberke will lead the workshop and discussion on building a weather safety plan as part of an overall Event Action Plan.

Participation in the workshop will help to optimize the ability for National Weather Service support products to inform your decision making process. Additional resources, examples, and templates will be available to help get a jump start on creating a new plan, or for updating and adding to existing plans.
