About the Equestrian Center
The Jester Park Equestrian Center (fondly known as JPEC) is a large, multifaceted horse stable in Granger, Iowa. We are a part of Polk County Conservation and have been in operation since 1998. As a government entity, our mission at JPEC is to serve the public with educational opportunities to learn about horses and the natural world around them. We fulfill this mission by offering a plethora of different programs and events that can be enjoyed by the most seasoned horse person to the extreme novice.
The stables are open to the public year round and families are welcome to come down and visit with the horses during business hours (9am-7pm). All staff that work at JPEC will be wearing a JPEC shirt, so feel free to ask them any questions!
Be sure to check out our calendar of events for upcoming equestrian opportunities!
