Cuts -n- Cops

The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) – Iowa Chapter,  Blades Barbershop, and Price Chopper (DGS Foods) are teaming up to host the 2nd Annual NOBLE Thanksgiving turkey giveaway to families who purchase a child’s haircut.

The turkey giveaway will take place on November 17, 2018 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Blades Barbershop located at 2204 Ingersoll Ave in Des Moines (while supplies last).

The Iowa Chapter of NOBLE consists of area law enforcement officers from agencies including: The Polk County Sheriff’s Office, 5th Judicial District, Des Moines Police Department, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Clive Police Department, and Ankeny Police Department.

This event is an opportunity for the patrons of the barbershop to get to know some of the area law enforcement officers and for the officers to get to mingle with the public in a relaxed environment.

NOBLE is an incorporated, non-profit organization representing approximately 3,500 members nationwide, primarily law enforcement chief executive officers and command-level officials for federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies, criminal justice educators and persons interested in furthering the goals and objectives of the organization. NOBLE now has over sixty (60) chapters throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean. Additional information on NOBLE can be found at www.NOBLENatl.org

Come out… get a fresh cut… and “chop it up” with some of your area law enforcement officers!
