IA 141 & IA 415 Corridor Study – Public Information Meeting

Polk County and Iowa DOT have partnered to review traffic operations, safety and future corridor goals for IA 141 and IA 415 in northwest Polk County. A Public Information Meeting is planned for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Jester Park Lodge between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will be conducted using an open forum format.  No formal presentation will be made. Polk County and Iowa DOT staff will be present to discuss both highway corridors under review.

The purpose of this meeting is to update citizens and stakeholders on evaluated alternatives and findings as a result of corridor study including specific alignments, estimated costs, traffic safety and operational impacts and benefits.  Feedback received at this meeting will be used to make final recoomendations for short term and long-term IA 141 and IA 415 corridor improvments.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting and express their opinions regarding the proposed project.
