This 3-day course is designed to enable participants to successfully plan for, respond to and manage debris operations resulting from a debris generating event. Interactive lectures, individual activities and small group activities will provide opportunities for participants to share ideas and ask questions.
The course is designed for emergency managers, public works, finance, procurement and environmental officials who are responsible for planning, managing, and/or implementing debris removal and disposal activities from all types of disasters.

This 2-day course demonstrates to students nationally recognized principles that, when used appropriately, can lead to community risk-reduction programs that can measure success in local communities. This course will give students the opportunity to explore programs from communities across the United States that have been showcased at Vision 20/20 symposiums. These programs demonstrate what nationally recognized organizations identify as examples of “best practices” in community risk reduction.

ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING

Course Overview:
This course consists of real-world training exercises, for all entities of public safety. The purpose of this course is to prepare first responders for an active killer incident. We prepare everyone that responds to these incidents to know what their role is for the incident, yet to be able to work together as one team.
This course is open and available for all Law-Enforcement, Fire Personnel, and EMS to attend. The training is a three-day course to prepare all public safety entities for responding to an active killer incident. The first day of the course is for law enforcement only, with day two and three available for Fire/EMS as a combined training with law enforcement.
The training consists of classroom discussion, Columbine and Club Pulse debriefs from AJ DeAndrea and Raul Rivas, medical, live fire range exercises (Leo only) dry run exercises, entries, movements, communication protocols, and real-world exercises.

This 2-day course provides training on and resources for personnel who has a responsibility to function in a command post managing and expanding incident. Topics include use of an Incident Complex and Area Command, and the interactions between Multi-Agency Coordination (MAC) entities.
Dallas County Emergency Management Agency is sponsoring this offering. Priority seating for this class will be given to organizations directly serving Dallas County. Those not directly associated with Dallas County will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified of seat availability 14 days prior to the start of class.

This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
This course is open to first responders, public works, jurisdictional executives, hospital leadership, non-profits, and anyone else that may be required to perform intermediate ICS duties.
