Polk County Employees Give Back to the Community through Charitable Campaign
Each year, Polk County employees take part in a charitable event that raises funds for local non-profit organizations. On December 13, 2023, the HR department of Polk County hosted a lunch and learn session to educate staff on the three charities they support. Creating Healthier Communities, United Way, and Iowa Shares representatives shared valuable historical information and details about how contributions help others.
Employees can give back by filling out pledge cards or participating in holiday bingo, with all proceeds going towards these noble causes.
