Community Center Rental

Polk County is pleased to make available the opportunity to rent a modern facility within your own neighborhood for private and public events.  If you are interested in renting a center, please review the Community Center Rental Policy and contact the Site Supervisor at the location you would like to reserve. 

RENTAL HOURS

Central, Eastside, Northwest, Norwoodville, Southside, Westside Community Centers

Monday - Thursday- 6-10 p.m. 

Friday- 6:00 p.m. - Midnight 

Saturday- 10:00 a.m. - Midnight 

Sunday- 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

Northside Community Center 

Monday - Thursday- 6-10 p.m. 

Friday- 6:00 p.m. - Midnight 

Saturday- 10:00 a.m. - Midnight 

Sunday- No Rentals Allowed 

Note:  An earlier rental time on Saturday & Sunday may be available.  Contact the the Community Center Site Supervisor for availability.  All facilities must be fully cleaned and vacated by Midnight.


RENTAL FEES 

Setup/Clean Up- $10 per hour

25 people or less- $15 per hour 

26-50 people- $25 per hour 

51-75 people- $35 per hour

76-100 people- $45 per hour 

Over 100 people- $50 per hour 

DEPOSIT

Rentals require a $100 facility deposit.  If alcohol (beer and wine only) is served, an additional $200 beverage deposit is required.  See the Community Center Rental Policy for further information. 

Nonprofit Community Center Rentals 

Polk County will provide rental to nonprofit businesses at no charge for the purpose of holding a business meeting.

A nonprofit group is defined as civic and service groups, government, religious groups, scout groups and youth organizations.  For the purpose of determining a nonprofit status, a tax exempt identification number and/or organization or event budget may be requested at the time the reservation is made. 

A business meeting is defined as a meeting that lasts no longer than three (3) hours and which does not include food other than beverages.  No alcoholic beverages may be served.

Central, East, Northside, Northwest, Norwoodville, Southside and Westside are available for rent by nonprofit groups as follows:

Monday - Thursday- 5:30-10 p.m.

Note: Nonprofits wishing to rent facilities on a Friday night or weekends must pay the fee for private rentals. See the policy for Private Senior Center Rentals

Deposit
