Health Department and Partners COVID-19 vaccine appointments are FULL

now through Jan. 31

(Des Moines, IA) – The Polk County Health Department and partners would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we start vaccinating individuals 65 years and older. The Polk County Health Department and select Hy-Vee and Medicap pharmacies COVID-19 vaccine appointments are FULL now through Jan. 31, 2021.

The Health Department and select Medicap pharmacies will open appointments for the week of February 1, 2021 on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM. To schedule an appointment at select Hy-Vee pharmacies once more of the vaccine becomes available, visit https://www.hy-vee.com/my-pharmacy/covid-vaccine-consent. The availability of COVID-19 vaccine appointments is based on vaccine supply.
