2nd Installment Property Tax Payments Due March 31st

2nd installment property taxes are due by March 31st. All payments not received or postmarked by that date are subject to a late payment penalty. Late interest accrues at 1.5% per month.

Drop Box
Payments made by check or money order (no cash) can be left in the drop box outside the Polk County Administration Building’s south entrance 24/7. Include your tax bill stub in the envelope with your payment by March 31st, to avoid penalty.

Pay by Mail
All mailed payments must be postmarked by the United States Postal Service by March 31st to avoid penalty. Mailed payments can be accepted by check or money order--no cash! Include your tax bill stub with your payment.
