Polk County Book Club Discussions - The Lost Apothecary and We Need New Names

In honor of Womens' History Month, Polk County HR and DEIA Committee are hosting a book club discussion. We will discuss The Lost Apothecary, by Sarah Penner on April 4 and We Need New Names, by NoViolet Bulawayo on April 28. Both authors will be at the DSM book festival on March 25.

The Polk County DEIA Committee is offering a limited number of complimentary copies of the book(s) to persons who reside in the Greater Des Moines area and are taking part in the discussion(s). Early requests are encouraged, as the complimentary books will be distributed in the order in which requests are received.
