Foragers & Hikers - Garlic Mustard Being Sprayed with Herbicide

Attention Foragers and Hikers We are starting to apply herbicide in various parks to slow the spread of the invasive species, Garlic Mustard. Right now, please do NOT forage on your own. Contact ConservationVolunteers@polkcountyiowa.gov if you are looking for patches of garlic mustard that have not been sprayed, or sign up for one of our foraging events.
