Polk County Property Tax Sale is June 17

Last day to pay property tax before sale is June 14

The 2024 Polk County property tax sale will be conducted June 17, 2024, using an online bidding process. Interested parties can learn more on the Treasurer’s Office website.

Property owners who are delinquent on their property tax account have until June 14, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to make payments. After that date, properties with a delinquent property tax bill will be available for purchase during the tax sale. Contact the Polk County Treasurer’s Office for assistance.

Interested bidders are encouraged to create their online account prior to the sale. The pre-registration process requires paying a fee and completing the required forms. Account pre-registration begins May 20, 2024, 8 a.m. Go to www.govease.com for more information and to register.

The Polk County Treasurer’s Office is responsible for the administration of the Annual Tax Sale which is conducted annually to collect unpaid property taxes which fund vital community services such as schools, hospitals, public safety and road construction.
