AARP Livability Index - The Livability Index, assesses seven broad categories of community livability: housing, neighborhood, transportation, environment, health, engagement and opportunity. Each category is split up into more specific topics. Values are given to each category, and then combined and averaged to create the area’s total livability score, measured out of a perfect score of 100.
