Flooding Closures 2024

Access will be closed to the impacted areas below.

Yellow Banks Park:

• Boat ramp into the Des Moines River
• River View Group Campsite

Jester Park: 

• Southside picnic area
• Campgrounds 2 & 3
• Lakeshore Trail
• Hickory Ridge Trail near the Nature Playscape

Note that all campers in effected areas at Jester Park are being asked to leave their sites no later than Friday, June 28 to avoid an emergency evacuation.
