Online Renewals

 

Welcome to the Polk County Recorder’s Office Online Renewal Website.  If you received a letter from our office you can renew online. Click on one of the following options to continue:

 
RENEWAL INFORMATION


ATV/ORM/ORV/SNOWMOBILE - All current registrations expired on Wednesday, December 31st, 2021.
BOATS - The 2022 renewal period for boats began January 1st, 2022. Registrations will expire on April 30, 2022 if they are not renewed. A $5.00 Penalty fee will be added to the renewal transaction on July 1st, 2022

Online renewals will be processed and mailed to you within 5 - 7 business days of your online payment unless unusual circumstances exist.
SERVICE FEES

All online renewals are subject to a Convenience Service Fee that is in addition to the standard renewal and postage and handling fees. Service fees are based on the total renewal price and are NON-REFUNDABLE. The cost of your service fee will appear on the screen before you submit payment. This fee will be assessed to all online transactions. 
PAYMENT METHODS

Payments for online renewals can be made with Visa, Master and Discover cards.

We are open to the public 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. For same day service of Vital Records you must be in the office by 3:30pm. Passports are by appointment only. Call 515-286-3160 with any questions or to set up an appointment.
