Adult Immunizations

The purpose of adult immunizations is to protect adults from vaccine-preventable diseases for which they have not been previously immunized. Adult immunizations are done by appointment at 515-286-3798. Cost is dependent on vaccinations needed. Persons should bring their immunizations records and insurance card to the appointment.

Adults need to be up to date on the following vaccines:

  • Polio
  • Tetanus-Diptheria
  • Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis ("Whooping Cough") (depending on risk factors)
  • Mumps/Measles/Rubella
  • Mpox
  • Chickenpox (Varicella) (depending on risk factors)
  • Shingles
  • Meningitis
  • HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
  • Hepatitis A 
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza (recommended yearly) Influenza Vaccine
  • Pneumococcal 

We also perform Tuberculosis skin test.
