The Polk County Sheriff’s Office visitation program is provided courtesy ICSolutions (www.icsolutions.com) and offers on-site and remote visits between citizens and inmates.  Before being permitted to visit an inmate you will be required to pre-register 24 hours in advance at www.icsolutions.com to create an account.

Video Visits – Rules and Regulations

  1. Registration for video visits is required and must be set up in the legal name of the primary visitor. This person is responsible for the payment of the visit and the behavior of everyone during the visit.
  2. If you are sent a warning message during the visit, obey it. Failure to do so may result in the facility terminating the visit.
  3. Everyone participating in the visit must be in view of the camera.
  4. Unauthorized communication between inmates is not allowed.
  5. Do not use or display drugs or drug paraphernalia.
  6. Do not display guns, violent imagery, or gang-related clothing/symbols.
  7. Do not operate a motor vehicle while visiting.
  8. Do not display pornographic images.
  9. Do not visit without a parent or guardian if you are younger than 18 years old.
  10. Do not allow blocked visitors to use your account.
  11. Do not stream, record, or take pictures of your visit.
  12. Do not conduct third-party calls while visiting.
  13. The inmate you choose when scheduling is the only one who may attend your visit.
  14. Do not allow children to be in the view of the camera unless they are completely dressed.
  15. Do not dress inappropriately and do not be sexually explicit. EXAMPLES of inappropriate clothing are strapless tops, swimsuits, exposed undergarments, see-through clothing, and items with offensive images or verbiage.
  16. Prospective visitors with pending felony charges known to facility staff may be denied access.
  17. No visitor will be permitted to visit if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.   Visitors discovered to be in possession of illegal contraband may be subject to arrest and criminal prosecution.
  18. Tobacco products, gum, soda, and other food items are strictly PROHIBITED in the on-site visiting area.
  19. Engaging in illegal or illicit (including disrobing and/or sexual behavior) will result in the visit being terminated.  

The Rules and Regulations stated are a guideline and are not to be considered all-encompassing.  Your visits are NEVER private and are always recorded and monitored.  Failure to comply with these rules may result in visit termination, denied future visitation rights, and/or potential criminal prosecution.

  • Visitation Cost/Fees

* Visits from home cost $0.25 per minute

* Each visitation session is up to 25 minutes; the countdown timer begins at the scheduled time.

* To schedule an offsite visit, visitors will need to have at least $6.25 in their ICSolutions prepaid account. To add funds, please login at www.icsolutions.com or call 888-506-8407.

­* Offsite visit charges will be taken from your prepaid account as soon as your visit is scheduled.

* If you cancel your visit or if canceled by the facility prior to the start time, the $6.25 will be returned to your prepaid account.

* If you do not visit for the full 25 minutes, unused minutes will be refunded to your account after the visit is complete.

* Arriving/connecting late will be allowed up to 10 minutes from the scheduled start time of the visit. Partial time is lost.

* Internet connectivity issues during offsite visits will not be refunded.

  • Visitation Hours

**Visitation hours may be adjusted on holidays or due to other events.**

Public On-Site Visitation Hours  (Sunday through Thursday)

Sunday: 8:30 am - 10:30 am, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 10:30 am, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Friday & Saturday: No On-Site Public Visitation

Public Remote Visitation Hours

Sunday - Saturday

Visits may be scheduled every day between the hours of: 

  • 8:30 am- 10:30 am
  • 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm- 4:30 pm
  • 6:00 pm- 9:30 pm

Qualified Professional Visitation Hours

Confidential In-Person- Monday – Friday: 

  • 8:00 am- 11:00 am
  • 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm- 4:30 pm

Confidential Remote Visit- Monday – Friday (in attorney rooms)

  • 8:00 am- 11:00 am
  • 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm- 4:30 pm

Confidential Remote- Sunday - Saturday (in housing unit medical room)

  • 8:00 am- 11:00 am
  • 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm

  • 6:00 pm- 9:30 pm

*Qualified Professionals have the ability to schedule a remote visit with 1-hour notice.

* To register as a Qualified Professional please contact the Polk County Jail Facility by dialing 515-323-5400 during normal business hours

  • Registration

You will be required to pre-register 24 hours in advance at www.icsolutions.com to create an account.  An ICSolutions kiosk is located in the Polk County Jail Facility front lobby that may be utilized by the general public for account registration and scheduling visits.

* All personal visits are subject to monitoring and recording.

* Visitors 18 years of age and older must register and possess valid picture identification (e.g., driver’s license, State I.D., Passport, or Military I.D)

* Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.

* Parents and Grand Parents will be allowed to visit together, or 1 Adult and 1 Minor. 

Once you are registered, you will be directed to then schedule your visit.  If you choose to schedule a remote visit, you will be required to download and test the visitation application from your Windows computer, Android, or iOS device (iPhone or iPad) before you will be able to schedule a visitation.  You may choose to visit from a computer or alternatively from any Android device by downloading The Visitor™ android app, ICS MOBILE from the Google Play store or any iOS device by downloading the iOS app, ICS MOBILE from the App Store by searching ICSolutions

  • Scheduling/Connection

Please read the rules completely prior to moving forward. To register for visitation, you must agree to the rules. Not knowing the rules is not an excuse for not following them.

Individuals are allowed one On-site visit and one remote visit at no cost per week. Inmates are allowed 5 remote visits per day. 

Visitors wishing to participate in remote site visitation are required to download and test the visitation application from their Windows computer, Android, or iOS device (iPhone or iPad) before they will be able to schedule a visitation.

* All personal visits are subject to monitoring and recording.

* Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance, and up to 3 weeks out

* Visitors 18 years of age and older must possess a valid picture identification

* Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.

* Offsite visitors should connect a few minutes prior to the start time to complete testing.

* Please be advised if an inmate is in ANY program (at court, on work assignments, attorney visits, Classes, etc.), they cannot visit at that time.

* Visitors wishing to visit from home will be required to download The Visitor™ visitation application & test prior to participating in an offsite visit.                                   

* Internet connectivity issues during offsite visits will not be refunded.                      

*After your visit has ended your connection will be terminated.
