Eagle Roost Wildlife Area
Eagle Roost Wildlife Area
Access to Eagle Roost serves primarily as a wildlife area.
Public access is very limited.
Diverse wildlife benefit from this important winter shelter area and migratory resting stop in the urban metro. Access to this 359-acre area is somewhat restricted due to private land ownership, road closures, and floodplain management. Wildlife observation and hunting are the principal recreation activities.
