Oralabor Gateway Trail
Oralabor Gateway Trail
This 4.25 mile trail connects the north end of the Gay Lea Wilson Trail to the Neal Smith Trail. It also provides an important connection to the High Trestle Trail by use of Ankeny City Trails. This trail is jointly managed with the City of Ankeny.
High Trestle Trailheads:
- East access is at Glenbrooke Park (2803 SW Glenbrooke Dr.) in Ankeny.
- Accessed from the south at Carney Marsh (NE 70th Ave.) and at the Sycamore Access on NW 66th Ave. in Johnston.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited on all trails within PCCB lands. The only exceptions are for maintenance, law enforcement, and emergency vehicles. This restriction does not apply to a manual-operated or power-driven device designed primarily for use by an individual with a mobility disability, e.g. wheel chair.
