Temporary Closure

A short section of the Chichaqua Valley Trail will be closed min-June through the fall of 2022.

Please avoid the area west of NE 112th St. (S27) along NE 82nd Ave. There are several bridges over Santiago Creek that are under construction, necessitating heavy truck traffic in the area.

As you plan your summer rides, be sure to begin or end your routes at the nearby Valeria or 88th St. trailheads.

Polk County Conservation appreciates your patience as our partners at Public Works are working to improve infrastructure.
